About the Burzynski Clinic
The Burzynski Clinic, an internationally recognized cancer center was founded in 1977 by Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski to offer top-notch, cutting-edge cancer treatments to its patients.
Their Mission? Beat cancer.
At the Burzynski Clinic, they abide by the words of Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine: First, do no harm. In any form of treatment, there can be a number of adverse side effects that can result in damage to a patient’s body; since every person is different, they personalize their approach to cancer treatment to try and limit the side effects and maximize the effectiveness for each patient. These personalized approaches to treatment are developed alongside an understanding of each patient’s unique genetic makeup.
Since first established, the Burzynski Clinic has treated more than 10,000 patients; 2,300 of these patients were treated in an FDA reviewed and IRB (Institutional Review Board) approved clinical trials program studying Antineoplastons.
While in University studying cancer treatments, Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski discovered that in the healthy human body, there were naturally occurring peptides that were deficient in cancer patients. By learning how to identify these markers and their anti-cancer activity, Dr. Burzynski and his team are able to assess the biology of each patient’s cancer and determines how they can tailor their strategy to target the specific genes and proteins that are exclusive to cancer cells.
Cancer treatment can even extend beyond the clinic and into the home. Patients and their caretakers undergo training from the Burzynski Clinic to ensure that they can administer all of the therapies themselves at home. This training also includes nutritional counseling to ensure that the patient is eating correctly for better recovery as well.
Dr. Burzynski is an internationally recognized physician who has spearheaded the practice of using biologically active peptides in order to treat cancer. He is working to eliminate the signs and symptoms of cancer in patients and prevent recurrence.
Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski studied medicine at the Medical Academy in Lublin, Poland where he graduated first in his class with distinction in 1967 with his Doctor of Medicine; in 1968, he graduated with his Ph.D. in Biochemistry. In 1971, moved to the United States where he earned his ECFMG Certificate at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and was licensed to practice medicine in 1973 in the state of Texas. He is also on the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
